Health and Social Planning
Julianne is passionate about bringing the health and wellbeing of people back to the forefront of community planning to enhance the vibrancy of the communities with which she works. Julianne brings her background in urban planning, public health, and social policy together with her strong facilitation and engagement skills to help communities explore innovative solutions to their social and health challenges. Julianne holds a Masters of Environmental Studies (Planning) from York University, where her research focused on exploring how municipalities can forge meaningful partnerships with other levels of government, community organizations, and First Nations, while simultaneously leveraging their own assets to achieve health equity, social connection, and well-being in their communities.
In her spare time, Julianne is training for the next big trail ultra-marathon, or cross-country skiing and snowshoeing with her dog. Julianne is based in Fort St. John, BC.
